To be a successful blogger, you truly need these things:
1. Unique and fresh content.
2. Consistent post (Updated regularly).
3. Back Links to your blog.
4. Search engine optimization (SEO).
There are a few ways to go about this. Most of them will take you a few hours a day, and it will probably be months until you see a profit. However, there are a few shortcuts you can take.
There are automated blogging tools that can take some of the work out of content posting and creating backlink. For example, you can get software that pulls in articles automatically. Now, there are good and bad ways of doing this. The bad would be stealing someone else’s hard work and putting it on your site as your own. But a good way would be allowing someone else to place a post on your blog in exchange for a link to theirs. There are actually software programs that automate this process for you.
Also, backlinks are easy to get, but it can take hours to do manually. Instead, try software that submits your RSS feed to several feed aggregators, and some that post to social bookmarking sites. Just don’t take advantage to spam these sites – instead, think of it as gently advertising your content. If you have good content, people will see these mini ads and visit.
